This day was my first skiing day. I started off, by catching the train to Innsbruck, the nearest town. I went to a local skiing shop, where I dropped my skis off and tried on brand new skiing boots because that I the only one I haven’t got yet. I got a 3-day trial with those expensive boots, so I could try them out before the purchase. I headed back to my van, put my skiing clothes on and caught the bus to the ski resort. Chris headed up before I did because he bought some skis and boots as well. We met on top of the mountain and I taught him how to ski. He tried the famous pizza for breaking a couple of times before we headed up on the slopes. Because it was my first day of skiing as well, I had to get used to it myself. Chris has done awesome for his first day of skiing and I thought it was fun teaching him. Roughly an hour of skiing later, we headed back, went to the supermarket to buy some groceries and had tea at Chris’s place. I am still struggling a little bit with all the mess in my van. I really brought way too much stuff from back home.
First time skiing again was bloody beautiful!
