This vlog is about the creation of a video for an e-cast application. This means, you shoot (and edit) a video of yourself with the certain criteria given in the application sheet. You hand in the video and hope for the best. In the case of my neighbour Paulo, his wife Aleks and myself, we had three different jobs we applied for and the application said to replicate the story they wanted for the advertisement.

The job was for Hyundai and really well paid. Because of the online application anyone could get in, which is why there wasn’t much hope for either of us to be chosen but you never know! I actually made it into the last few people but sadly it wasn’t enough.
In total we filmed and edited three videos about three different stories. Paulo was an artist, a painter who is sitting on top of his car, painting the scenery. He’s a total rookie but in the end he ends up with a nice piece of artwork.

Aleks story was a baker and like Paulo, she’s a total rookie too. It seems like she just can’t get the bread right. She chose to take the bread anyway and after she ate a bit, it tasted surprisingly good.

My story was about a drummer who can’t get this fill right, because he is always loosing on stick. After taping the sticks to the hands with a bit of ducktape, I managed to finally play the whole fill without losing a stick.

That was just a quick summary of all three stories.
